By purchasing or using any product or service on this website, you agree to these Terms. Please read them before you buy.
Words to Remain is a eulogy-writing and preparation service operated by Scrypto Computers EOOD, a company registered in Bulgaria, European Union. Our trading name is Words to Remain and our contact email is [email protected]. These Terms govern your use of this website and any product or service purchased through it, alongside our Privacy Policy.
We offer three types of product:
These are creative writing and editorial products. They are not therapy, counselling, psychological support, medical advice, or legal advice, and are not a substitute for any of those things. If you are struggling with grief, we'd encourage you to also reach out to a bereavement counsellor or your doctor — we're glad to help with the words, but we're not qualified to help with the loss itself.
Any eulogy, speech, or written material you produce, edit, or deliver using our templates or services is yours. You are responsible for its accuracy, its content, and how and where you use or deliver it — including anything you say about a specific person, living or deceased. We do not review submitted drafts, questionnaire answers, or finished speeches for factual accuracy, and we accept no liability for how content you write, or that we write on your behalf based on information you supply, is received, used, or published.
All prices are shown in GBP and USD; the currency shown reflects our best estimate of your region and can be switched manually at checkout. Payment is processed securely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details. A contract is formed once payment is confirmed by Stripe, at which point we begin preparing or delivering your order.
Templates and Kits are delivered as an instant digital download or emailed link immediately after payment. Custom Speeches are delivered by email within the timeframe stated on the relevant product page at the time of your order (currently within hours, depending on tier). Polish & Review is delivered by email within the timeframe stated on that page (currently under 48 hours per round). Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and may occasionally be affected by factors outside our control.
Under the UK/EU Consumer Contracts Regulations, you normally have a 14-day right to cancel an order for digital content. By completing your purchase, you expressly request that we begin supplying your template, speech, or editing service immediately, and you acknowledge that you lose this right to cancel once delivery has started — which, for an instant-download template, is immediately on payment.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights, or our liability for faulty digital content under applicable consumer law.
Our templates, speeches, and editing services are provided "as is." We don't guarantee that any particular wording, template, or piece of writing will be suitable for every venue, audience, religious or cultural context, or personal circumstance — you (or, for Custom Speeches, the person delivering the eulogy) remain responsible for reviewing and approving the final wording before it's used or read aloud.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
The template designs, preparation booklets, website content, and branding remain the property of Words to Remain / Scrypto Computers EOOD. When you purchase a template or kit, we grant you a personal licence to fill it in, print it, and use it for your own eulogy or speech — you may not resell, redistribute, or republish the template itself. Any speech we write for you, or your own draft that we edit, belongs to you once delivered.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the law of the country in which you live (for example, the UK or a US state), which continue to apply regardless of this clause.
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remainder of these Terms will continue in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, make up the entire agreement between you and Words to Remain regarding your order, and supersede any prior discussions or understandings on the same subject.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the website or place an order after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
