We keep this simple: the personal details you give us are used only to deliver your order, we use basic analytics cookies (with your consent) to understand site traffic, and we never sell your data to anyone.

1. Who we are

Words to Remain is a personalised eulogy writing service operated by Scrypto Computers EOOD, a company registered in Bulgaria, European Union. Our trading name is Words to Remain and our contact email is [email protected].

For the purposes of EU GDPR, Scrypto Computers EOOD is the data controller for personal information collected through this website.

2. What information we collect

We collect personal information only when you provide it to us directly. This happens in two ways:

Order form (via Tally): When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, and the personal details you share about yourself and your loved one — including their name, age, memories, and any other information you choose to provide to help us write your speech.
Contact form (via Formspree): When you send us a message, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message.

We also use cookies and similar tracking technologies to understand how visitors use this website, via Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4. These collect information such as pages visited, general location, device/browser type, and referral source — never your name, email, or anything you enter into our forms. Tracking cookies only load after you give consent through our cookie banner (powered by CookieScript); you can withdraw consent at any time by reopening the banner or clearing your cookies. 3. How we use your information

We use the information you provide solely for the following purposes:

To write and deliver your personalised eulogy speech
To communicate with you about your order, including revisions
To respond to your enquiries and messages
To process your payment securely through Stripe (see Section 5)

We do not use your information for marketing unless you explicitly ask us to keep you updated.

4. Sensitive personal information

The information you share about your loved one — their life, your memories, and the circumstances of their passing — is treated with the utmost care and confidentiality. It is used only to write your speech and is never shared with any third party for any reason.

5. Third-party services

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate this website:

Stripe: Our payment processor. When you make a payment, your payment details are handled directly and securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe Privacy Policy →
Gmail / Google: We use Gmail to deliver your completed speech to your inbox. Your email address is used for this purpose only.
Google Tag Manager & Google Analytics 4: Used to understand overall site traffic and behaviour (pages visited, approximate location, device type). These only load after you consent via our cookie banner. Google Privacy Policy →

All third-party providers are required to handle your data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

6. How long we keep your information

We retain your order information — including the details you shared about your loved one and the speech we wrote — for up to 12 months, in case you need to request revisions or contact us about your order. After this period, your data is deleted.

Contact form enquiries are retained for up to 6 months.

7. Your rights under GDPR

As a resident of the European Union or United Kingdom, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Right of access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Right to rectification: You can ask us to correct inaccurate information.
Right to erasure: You can ask us to delete your personal data, subject to any legal obligations we may have.
Right to restrict processing: You can ask us to limit how we use your data.
Right to data portability: You can request your data in a portable format.
Right to object: You can object to our processing of your data.

8. Data transfers

Some of our third-party providers may process data outside the European Union. Where this occurs, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with GDPR requirements, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Our service is intended for adults only. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
